Van & Country Campervan Checklist
At the time of writing this blog post we’d only just bought our van and I soon realised there was the potential for so much to go wrong with the van. It dawned on me that there were some similarities between this new hobby of ours and my other hobby of flying private aeroplanes.
When I go flying I use checklist most if not all the time. Checklists, if complete and you stick to them are a great way of reducing the risk of forgetting things.
Here’s my check list that I’m publishing for you to use as well if you want to.
- It’s work in progress so please do make change requests using the form at the bottom.
- To open this checklist on your phone or tablet you can scan the QR Code to the right.
Check all/un-check all check marks by clicking twice.
Some systems like heating and boilers need a few minutes to go through a shutdown procedure which if not allowed for might be the cause of an error the next time the habitation area is powered up. Shut down the systems now and they will do their thing while you complete all the other checks.
One last visual check.
